Job description

Sr. Business Objects Developer. Solid financial reporting development experience with a focus on BO SDK and/or XRI2
performance management.

  • Must HAVE Experience working on the BO XI platform MUST HAVE BO SDK
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Strong experience in developing Business Objects universes and reports, Crystal business views and , OLAP and Web
  • Intelligence reports to fulfill Financial Reporting and Accounting needs Strong experience with reporting and financial analytics in a Data Mart or Data Warehouse environment
  • Experience with related technologies, including Decision Support, OLAP, RDBMS, client server, and multidimensional database technology
  • Experience with products in the Business Objects suite including Designer, Supervisor, Web Intelligence, OLAP and  Dashboard Manager
  • Experience working with Business Objects Financial Analytics a plus
  • Experience and understanding of Hyper ion financial reporting a plus
  • Working knowledge of Windows and Unix operating systems
  • Ability to comprehend complex technical and logical concepts and adapt quickly to changes
  • Ability to maintain own workflow and meet deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to best meet departmental and organizational goals. Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to respond to frequent demands of multiple internal customers
  • Must be able to work with minimal requirement specification.

  • Must be organized and a team player
  • Works closely with business users to define reporting requirements and documenting the requirements in order to design, develop and maintain Business Objects, Web Intelligence, OLAP Intelligence and Crystal reports
  • Effectively participates and leads technical discussions with internal teams, Demonstrates ability to assist other engineers on project making sound risk/reward decisions, Possesses general knowledge of nature of financial business, business  strategy and the types of reporting and analytics that will make a successful Business Intelligence deployment, Understands how Business Objects tools and services can impact employer success and derives a technical solution
  •  using core Business Objects products or extensions of core products, Demonstrates the ability to define requirements,
  •  identify benefits and measure value , Works on moderately complex technical problems with minimal supervision
